Sea Pact To Advance Tuna Harvest Strategies Through All Tunas 2028
Tuna is the most important wild-caught species for many Sea Pact members, making sustainable management essential to long-term supply and responsible sourcing. To strengthen global tuna governance, Sea Pact will join the All Tunas 2028 initiative in 2026, engaging directly with Regional Fishery Management Organizations (RFMOs) to advance science-based harvest strategies that serve as critical tools that help prevent overfishing, improve stability, and support resilient fisheries.
By bringing market leadership into international management discussions, Sea Pact aims to support adoption of stronger, long-term measures for priority tuna stocks.
