Sal Battaglia | Seacore Seafood
SAL BATTAGLIA has grown up in the seafood industry his entire life which started early in downtown Toronto at the St. Lawrence Market when he was a boy. In 2004, he started his full-time career at Seacore after graduating from York University’s Schulich School of Business and quickly immersed himself in the operations, quality management, sales & marketing of the company. It was in 2008, that Seacore began to focus on sustainable seafood as it was an important part of their long-term business vision. It was then that Sal took on another role as Seacore’s Director of Sustainability and began to work with the team at Seacore to develop a sustainable seafood program. Today he is proud to continue to help lead Seacore in a sustainable future in managing one of the industry’s leading companies and playing a vital role in organizations such as Sea Pact. Sea Pact is by far one of the greatest achievements Sal has been a part of in his professional career and feels it is a great honour to be associated with the other members.
