FishWise is nonprofit 501(c)(3) sustainable seafood consultancy that promotes the health and recovery of ocean ecosystems through environmentally responsible business practices. By combining credible science, conservation strategies, the innovation of seafood businesses, and the power of informed consumers, FishWise believes that we can chart a new course for the seafood industry, resulting in strong financial and environmental performance. FishWise has more than ten years of experience working with clients that range from independent retailers, distributors, and producers, to some of the largest seafood businesses in North America. Each in the supply chain has an important role to play, from the companies around the world that farm and catch fish, to the retailers and distributors that possess the purchasing power to make the improvements necessary to protect our ocean resources long into the future.
